Terms of Service

1. Agreement

These terms govern your use of The Mock House at themockhouse.com and the services on it. By creating an account or using the product, you agree to these terms. If you are using The Mock House for an organization, you accept these terms on its behalf.

2. Your account

You need an account to generate mockups. Keep your login details secure and accurate. You are responsible for activity under your account. Tell us promptly if you believe it has been used without your permission.

3. Plans, billing, and renewals

The Mock House offers a Free plan and paid plans (Creator, Studio, and Enterprise). Paid plans are billed in advance through our payment processor, Stripe, on a monthly or annual cycle, and renew automatically until cancelled. Each plan includes a set number of mockup generations per billing period. You can change or cancel your plan at any time from your account. Cancellation takes effect at the end of the current billing period, and you keep access until then.

4. Licensing: personal and commercial use

The Free and Creator plans are licensed for personal use: portfolios, learning, social posts, and spec or unpaid work. They do not grant a commercial license.

The Studio and Enterprise plans include a commercial license. With an active Studio or Enterprise plan you may use the mockups you generate in paid client work, campaigns, products, packaging, and other commercial materials.

5. Resale and redistribution

The mockups you generate are licensed for your own use and your clients’ projects. You may not resell, relicense, redistribute, or repackage them as a product in their own right. This applies to every plan, including Free, Creator, Studio, and Enterprise.

Specifically, you may not:

• Sell or list generated mockups as stock assets, templates, or downloads on any marketplace or website.
• Offer the mockups themselves as a paid product or service to others.
• Bundle generated mockups into a template pack, asset library, or similar collection for sale.

Using a mockup inside your own work or paid client work is allowed on the plans that include a commercial license. Selling the mockups as the product itself is never allowed, on any plan.

6. Your content

You keep all rights to the artwork and files you upload. You are responsible for having the rights to use what you upload, and for making sure it does not infringe anyone else’s intellectual property or break the law. You grant us a limited right to process and store your uploads only as needed to provide the service to you.

The mockups you generate from your own artwork are yours. We claim no ownership over your output and do not use it to promote The Mock House without your permission. How you may use that output — personal or commercial — follows the license that comes with your plan, set out in sections 4 and 5.

7. Our content

The templates, scenes, sample artwork, brand, software, and the service itself belong to The Mock House. We grant you a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable right to use them to generate mockups under your plan. You may not copy, scrape, or reverse engineer the templates, scenes, or underlying system.

8. Acceptable use

Do not use The Mock House to create or distribute unlawful, infringing, hateful, or deceptive material, to abuse or overload the service, or to circumvent plan limits. We may suspend or close accounts that break these terms.

9. Refunds

Payments are generally non-refundable except where required by law. If something goes wrong on our side, contact us and we will make it right.

10. Service availability and changes

We work to keep The Mock House available and improving, but we do not guarantee uninterrupted service. We may add, change, or remove features and templates over time.

11. Disclaimers and liability

The Mock House is provided “as is.” To the extent permitted by law, we disclaim implied warranties, and our total liability for any claim relating to the service is limited to the amount you paid us in the twelve months before the claim.

12. Changes to these terms

We may update these terms as the product evolves. If we make a material change, we will update the date above and, where appropriate, let you know. Continuing to use The Mock House after a change means you accept the updated terms.
